🍌The sweet creaminess in this recipe comes from bananas.
You can use almond, cashew, or other nut butter instead of peanut butter if you’d prefer.
PB & CHOCOLATE NICE CREAM
(makes 4 servings)
● 4 frozen bananas, peeled and sliced
● ¼ cup (25 g) raw cocoa powder
● 2 Tbsp peanut butter (or other nut butter like almond)
● 2-3 Tbsp milk, as needed (dairy or alternative)
Place bananas, cocoa powder, and peanut butter in a high-powered blender and blend on high speed.
If necessary, add a small amount of milk to get the blender moving again. Use as little as possible!
Blend for a total of 2-3 minutes, until the mixture reaches your desired consistency.
You can eat immediately or if you prefer firmer nice cream, scrape the contents into a freezer-proof container and freeze for a couple of hours.
